1-е Послание к коринфянам

Глава 3

1 И я, братья, не мог говорить с вами, как с духовными, но как с плотяными, как с младенцами во Христе.

2 Я вскормил вас молоком, не твердой пищей; ибо вы еще не могли, да и теперь еще не можете;

3 ибо вы еще плотские. Ибо, поскольку между вами ревность и ссоры, — не плотские ли вы и не по человечеству ли поступаете?

4 Ибо когда кто говорит: я Павлов, а другой: я Аполлосов, — то не люди ли вы?

5 Итак, что такое Аполлос, и что такое Павел? служители, чрез которых вы уверовали, и каждый, как ему дал Господь.

6 Я насадил, Аполлос полил, но Бог давал рост.

7 Поэтому ни насаждающий не значит ничего, ни поливающий, но Бог, дающий рост.

8 Насаждающий же и поливающий — одно, но каждый получит свою награду по своему труду.

9 Ибо мы — Божии сотрудники; вы — Божия нива, Божие строение.

10 По благодати Божией, данной мне, я, как мудрый зодчий, положил основание, а другой строит на нем: пусть каждый смотрит, как строит.

11 Ибо другого основания никто не может положить, кроме положенного, которое есть Иисус Христос.

12 Если же кто строит на этом основании из золота, серебра, драгоценных камней, дерева, сена, соломы, —

13 каждого дело станет явным; ибо День покажет, потому что он в огне открывается, и каждого дело, каково оно есть, огонь его испытает.

14 Если чье дело пребудет, — то, которое он на нем построил, — он получит награду;

15 если чье дело будет сожжено, он потерпит ущерб, сам же будет спасён, но так, как бы сквозь огонь.

16 Разве вы не знаете, что вы — храм Божий, и Дух Божий живет в вас?

17 Если кто храм Божий разоряет, разорит того Бог; ибо храм Божий свят, и это — вы.

18 Пусть никто себя не обольщает: если кто среди вас считает себя мудрым в веке сем, пусть сделается безумным, чтобы стать мудрым.

19 Ибо мудрость мира сего есть безумие пред Богом. Ибо написано: Он уловляет мудрых лукавством их.

20 И еще: Господь знает умствования мудрых, что они суетны.

21 Итак никто да не хвалится людьми; ибо всё — ваше:

22 Павел ли, или Аполлос, или Кифа, или мир, или жизнь, или смерть, или настоящее, или будущее — всё ваше;

23 вы же — Христовы, а Христос Божий.

Chapter 3

1 SO I, my brethren, could not converse with you as with spiritual men, but as with worldly men and even as with little children in Christ.

2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto you were unable to eat it, and even now you are not ready for it;

3 Because you are still worldly: for as long as there is among you envying and strife and divisions, are you not worldly and still following after the material things?

4 For while one says, I am a follower of Paul; and another, I am a follower of Apollos; are you not worldly?

5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you were converted; each one is gifted according as the LORD gave to him.

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7 So then neither he who plants, nor he who waters deserves the credit; but God who gives the increase.

8 Thus the planter and the waterer are equal: and each one shall receive his own wages according to his own labor.

9 For we work together with God: you are God's work and God's building.

10 According to the grace of God which is given to me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds upon it. But let every man be careful how he builds thereon.

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that which is already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if any man build on this foundation gold, silver, or precious stones, or wood, or hay, or stubble;

13 Every man's work shall be plainly seen: for the light of day shall expose it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall test every man's work and show of what sort it is.

14 And the builder whose work survives shall receive his reward.

15 And the one whose work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be rescued, even as one who has been saved from the fire.

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

17 And whoever defiles the temple of God, God will destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and that temple is you.

18 Let no man deceive himself. Whoever among you thinks he is wise in this world, let him consider himself a fool so that he may become wise.

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, He catches the wise in their own craftiness.

20 And again, The LORD knows that the thoughts of the wise are vain.

21 Therefore, let no man boast about men. For all things are yours;

22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all things are yours;

23 And you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

12 Если же кто строит на этом основании из золота, серебра, драгоценных камней, дерева, сена, соломы, —

12 Now if any man build on this foundation gold, silver, or precious stones, or wood, or hay, or stubble;

13 каждого дело станет явным; ибо День покажет, потому что он в огне открывается, и каждого дело, каково оно есть, огонь его испытает.

16 Разве вы не знаете, что вы — храм Божий, и Дух Божий живет в вас?

16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

17 Если кто храм Божий разоряет, разорит того Бог; ибо храм Божий свят, и это — вы.

17 And whoever defiles the temple of God, God will destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and that temple is you.

18 Пусть никто себя не обольщает: если кто среди вас считает себя мудрым в веке сем, пусть сделается безумным, чтобы стать мудрым.
